Marysville Strawberry Festival Craft Market

I have sent in my application for the Craft Market at the Strawberry Festival towards the end of June. I am excited and nervous! I think it will be fun to see how my wares do with the masses. My sister, Hillarie will be joining me by proxy. She has been hard at work on a few wares of her own, including crayon rolls, tissue holders, re-usable/washable sandwich and snack bags...etc. If you are in the area, look for me in the booth with the big skunk tail.

Stinkin' Kute!

Picnic Set

Ever get up in the middle of the night and step on a lego? Or any other hard sharp toy? OUCH! Here is my picnic set! Its made of fabric and felt, so no sharp corners!


In each set you get a picnic for four! Including plates, the makings for burgers, lemonade (glasses and pitcher), watermelon (some with seeds and some without), fried chicken, and corn on the cob.



For the burgers you get buns, patties, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles.






For those of you who are vegetarian or vegan...they could be veggie patties, soy cheese and tofu chicken :)




The whole set comes in a fabric bag (in several different colors), that is 8"x9" with handles, and a red and white gingham 'table cloth'.
The plates come in a variety of colors and patterns.

Bookmarks

I love to read! Usually I am grabbing whatever is close to use as a bookmark. Sometimes it ends up being a canceled check, shopping receipt or post-it note. I decided to make some bookmarks that would keep my place while looking pretty in the book laying on the table or up on the shelf.





I used the same pattern as the Dangles, attaching long ribbons on the end.





Each bookmark is $6.50

Rear View Mirror 'Dangles'

I designed these simple Dangles to hang from a rear view mirror. They are made of wire shaped by hand and beads of glass and other materials.




They hang about 6" to 7" long.
There are different combinations of beads and colored wire.



You should see the sun shimmer off the beads and wire as it gently swings in your window.

"Shutter Bugs"

These Kute little bugs make great companions on your desk at work or at home, holding in their antenna, little pictures of the ones you love!



Each Lady Bug has a 1-1/2" round base with antenna that stand about 3" to 4" high.




The caterpillars are about 3" long with antenna that stand about 4" to 5" high.
All the bugs are hand made from clay, and hand painted with its own personality.

Boxes

I designed these boxes specifically for the cards that I make but they can be used for many things. i.e. recipe cards, coupons, photos etc. They are made from natural colored, thin chipboard cardboard. Each box has a closure of either hook, or tie. They very easily fit 8 cards and envelopes and are fun and easy to embellish with your own special touch.

I have used a wide range of brads. Bright colors, dark colors, pearls, rinestones, pastels, metals etc.

Cards for any occasion

There are four different pictures to choose from, but the paper prints and colors vary with each card.

They are blank inside and easy to use for 'Thank You's, 'Thinking of You's or any other reason you might want to send someone a card. They also make great gifts when put together in a set. Each comes in a protective sleeve with an envelope.
